BASINGSTOKE Buffalo’s Sam Compton and Scott Anda are the latest players to find a new club for this season, after the Herd announced they would sit out the 2024/25 campaign.

The very experienced defenceman Compton will join the Solent Devils 2, while hard working forward Anda will lace up for the Haringey Huskies.

Both teams play at the same level as the play-off winning Buffalo did last term.

Buffalo captain Compton will be an excellent addition for the side which play out of Gosport.

He returned 10 points last season for the Buffs, which included one goal to his name.
