AN ACCOUNTANCY firm, with an office in Basingstoke, has recently announced a key leadership appointment following a significant merger.
Shaw Gibbs has revealed Naomi Stewart as its new head of tax has come following a merger with Martin and Company.
Ms Stewart is a chartered accountant and a chartered tax adviser, boasting a substantial career spanning over two decades.
She spent 14 years with Azets, formerly known as Wilkins Kennedy, mostly in corporate tax advisory.

Ms Stewart's skills are mostly in tax structuring, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions planning, R&D tax relief, and share schemes.
Peter O’Connell, CEO of Shaw Gibbs, said: "We are delighted to welcome Naomi to her new role as head of tax for the group. Naomi has played a key role in the success of the tax practice at Martin and Company, and we are confident that she will bring her expertise, leadership, and vision to the whole group."
