THE popular paddling pool at Eastrop Park will reopen today (Saturday, August 10) at midday.
The pool was forced to close again following a flash flood on Thursday, August 1, just after reopening from earlier maintenance work.
"Our teams have worked hard this week to remove the flood water and clean the pool and surrounding area, ready to refill and prepare the pool for people to play in," Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council said in a social media post.

The council has urged residents to wait until the official opening at midday to avoid any delays. Final preparation checks are still underway, and attempting to use the pool before then could disrupt the process.
Thankfully, all other Eastrop Park facilities remain accessible, including the play area, boating lake, and boat house.
Free parking is also available for visitors at the Eastrop Park car park.
