GEORGE Michael's cousin said he has been contacted by the spirit of the late pop star - via his radio.
Chris Antoniou, 60, said he was driving to Sainsbury's when the radio cut out, went static and George's voice called out his name through the speakers, he said.
And later that day it happened again, he says, but this time the voice through the car radio speakers said "I'm free", he claims.
Chris, who is the Wham! frontman's cousin, believes the message is George Michael telling him he is at peace now.

The retired civil servant from Aldershot said: "I was shocked - it was totally amazing, it completely lifted my spirits."
“We had a good connection. I think I understood him more than anyone else, so I think that’s why he contacted me.”
Chris says he heard the voice from his car radio on July 29.
And Chris was even more dumfounded when later in the evening on the same day, he heard his cousin's voice once again.
Chris said: “The same thing happened, the radio went all static but this time George’s voice said ‘I’m free'."
Since the supernatural event, Chris has been continuing in vain to hear his deceased relative once again – but to no avail.
“I suppose it was just a message saying that he is free now," he said.
"He always wanted to be famous, but when it happened it was quite hard for him.
“When we went to Greek weddings and stuff he was always there and saying how he wanted to be famous.”

Chris recalls being a teenager when he found out George had suddenly made it.
“One day my dad just said to me 'George is on Top of the Pops'," he said.
“It all happened so quickly for him.
“He moved his family and changed his phone number, but I still had some contact with him.
“We had a good connection - he was always busy, but most of the time he was on his own.”
Chris says he was left very shocked by what happened but felt “very happy” that his cousin had contacted him.
“I think maybe he was looking down realising that I was unhappy," he said.
“When he said ‘I'm free’ I understood what he meant.
“He used to tell me he found fame very hard - once he became famous in the Wham! days he couldn't even go out to the shops anymore.”
Chris recalls saying to George that he could wear a disguise, to which George would reply that if he did so it would be he would be “defeated in life".
George Michael died in September 2016 aged 53 on Christmas Day.
He is one of the best-selling musicians of all time, with his record sales estimated at between 100 million to 125 million worldwide.
