Andrew Loake, 47, reported being assaulted with a sharp blade.
Giving evidence during the trial, Mr Loake described what he remembered from the night.
He explained how he saw Majid, who goes by the nickname of 'Smiler', chased him while riding as a passenger on a bike, and attacked him.
A third person was earlier released in the middle of the trial due to legal reasons.
The boy from Thatcham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has had the case against home dropped after the judge held discussions with his counsels and the prosecution.
