A STUDENT from Basingstoke is celebrating achieving her 'wildest dreams' after getting into the prestigious Oxford University.
Bex Kearney studied ancient history, politics and psychology at Queen Mary's College, receiving an A, A and a B respectively.
The 18-year-old has said the results mean she can attend her first choice university, Oxford, to study history and politics.

"I'm so excited, it's been my dream since I started college. This time last year I was getting so much support, and I've been through so much so I'm just happy to be in," said Bex.
The Brighton Hill resident spoke about the pressures of aiming for such a selective university, which has an acceptance rate of approximately 17 per cent.
She continued: "It's just so stressful because there's so much pressure on you for results and A-levels. Everybody knew that my top choice was Oxford so I felt like I had a lot of pressure on me during exams and results, but it's all lifted now."
Bex said the process, which included her writing a personal statement before undertaking multiple interviews and taking an admissions test in history, had been 'really hard'.
"It's such a long process that it's just so hard to keep focus and make sure that you are staying on track, there's so many points where you can fail, it's really scary and you can get in your head," she explained.

The student will celebrate her results by attending The Eras Tour in London, singer and songwriter Taylor Swift's three-hour concert.
Bex has planned her outfit, a white sparkly dress and cowboy boots, to match with her friends who she will attend the event, held at Wembley Stadium, with.
She said the concert, which will feature songs from a number of Taylor Swift's albums, including Bex's favourite, Folklore, will be the 'best celebration ever'.
She concluded: "It means so much, I've just put so much work in over the last two years, it's such a relief. I'm so excited to just go off and be there, it seems like one of my wildest dreams."
