A SCHOOL in Sherfield on Loddon is celebrating after 43 per cent of its students were handed top grades in their A-Levels.

Students at Sherfield School received their results on Thursday, August 15, with more than 40 per cent handed A* to A, and more than 60 per cent of students receiving higher than a B.

The school said 85 per cent of those studying BTECs at the private school were handed Distinction or Distinction star grades, with all receiving A*s in the Extend Project Qualification (EPQ).

Caroline Taylor, head of the school, said: "We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students and their outstanding achievements this year.

"These results reflect our students' dedication, our staff's expertise, and the supportive environment that Sherfield School provides.

"We are confident that our graduates are well-prepared for the next stages of their academic and professional journeys, and we wish them every success in the future."

Students from Sherfield School will move on to study at a range of universities including Exeter, Southampton, Bath, Loughborough, Bristol and the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.
