POPULAR music classes for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers has undergone a name change after 32 years.
Known as Music With Mummy, the business has been rebranded as The Jolly Melodies Music Company to further embrace inclusivity and honour family involvement in the nurturing of young minds.
Despite the name change, the structure, leaders, and timetable of classes will remain consistent.
The musical content will continue with a blend old favourites, nursery rhymes, folk songs, plus new pieces aimed at young audiences.
With a focus on encouraging children's listening and social skills, rhythm, speech and overall confidence, all genders and ages will feel comfortable attending with their youngsters.
Classes are offered across the UK, with five licensees in Hampshire.
Under its new branding, class options will be known as Jolly Babies (from birth), Jolly Toddlers (from 15 months), and Jolly Independent! (from age three).
The Jolly Melodies Music Company encourages families to join its celebratory relaunch by attending a taster session at a local class.
The classes are available in Winchester, Tadley, Farnborough, Whitchurch and the surrounding are, Andover, and Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh.
Anne-Marie Collier, The Jolly Melodies Music company director, said: "After three decades of welcoming not just mummies; but daddies, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and all different caregivers into our classes, it was time for our name to reflect the beautiful and varied composition of modern family life."
Josie Dade, who oversees the Hampshire region as a licensor said: "My Winchester classes have been running for 18 years and I have been managing the Hampshire team for 13; we have always had an all-inclusive policy, but I am delighted that our shiny new name now reflects this, it’s just perfect!"
