The expansion will see the addition of a grooming spa with all-natural products and a vets, both opening in the autumn.
In addition to the spa and vets, the new store also features a wide range of products including food for fish, reptiles, hedgehogs, swans, ducks and wild birds.
A dedicated 'cosy corner' is set up for pet owners to pick out a bed for their furry friend, as well as a wall dedicated to leashes and harnesses for both dogs and cats.
Owners can also get their pet's ID tags engraved at the shop in addition to buying frozen or fresh food for their animals.
A spokesperson for Pets Corner previously told the Gazette that the shop will hold an opening weekend on September 21 and 22 that 'promises to be fun for all the family.
They added: "There will be goodie bags, balloon animals, ice cream and demonstrations from Canine Partner (a dog charity).
"We'll also have our team members dishing out treats and any needed pet advice."
