POLICE have revealed why there were multiple police cars in a Basingstoke suburb over the weekend.
Officers were spotted in Tennyson Way in South Ham, and police have revealed why.
A spokesman said: “Officers have been conducting routine enquiries at an address in Tennyson Way in Basingstoke following the arrest of a 41 year-old man on suspicion of possessing a firearm without certificate and possessing an imitation firearm in a public place.
“After further enquiries, the man has been released with no further action.”
