A NEW events company has launched in Basingstoke, bringing Bollywood beats to the "coolest crowd in town."
Events company Talli Tigers aims to work with different communities in Basingstoke and Deane, as well as the surrounding areas in order to create and help the diverse communities celebrate their heritage, special occasions and more.
The company helps put on a number of different events, including Christmas, New Year’s, Diwali and birthday celebrations.
The team recently held their first successful event, a celebration of India's 77 years of independence on Thursday, August 15, in Harry's Bar.

Uday Padia, managing director for Talli Tigers, said: "We had 200 plus people attending this great event at Harry’s bar at the top of town in Basingstoke.
"I am thrilled with the success of the first event and am looking forward to many more."
Talli Tigers play a diverse selection of music from various South Asian cultures including Bollywood, Bhangra, soulful Tamil and Telugu tunes, and Pakistani melodies.
The next Talli Tigers event is a 'VIP Night' and will be held at 8.30pm in Harry's Bar on August 23.
Readers can join Talli Tigers "for a night of glamour and excitement," partying with "the coolest crowd in town" for a night filled with music, dancing, and "good vibes."
Organisers say it will be a "night to remember."
