AN AIR ambulance landed in a park in Basingstoke to deliver specialist treatment to a patient.
The emergency helicopter was called to the incident at Russell Howard Park, in South Ham, at 12.17pm today, Wednesday, August 21.
The air ambulance crew, including a doctor and a specialist paramedic, treated the patient, who was then taken to hospital for further treatment via a road ambulance.
The air ambulance team travelled with the patient to provide specialist care.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said: "Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance confirmed that the air ambulance, carrying a doctor and specialist paramedic, was dispatched to an incident in Basingstoke at 12.17 on Wednesday August 21.
"Following treatment on scene, a patient was taken to hospital by road ambulance for further treatment.
"The air ambulance team travelled with the patient to continue providing specialist care."
