The summer exhibition features a collection of multi-discipline 2D and 3D art, including wearable, usable, decorative and sculptural art pieces in ceramic, glass, metal, textiles and millinery displayed alongside contemporary and traditional wall art, paintings and photographs.
Artists will be on hand throughout the exhibition to chat to visitors and discuss their work.
Artists displaying their work at the exhibition include contemporary mixed media artist Rachel Davis, whose work is created in response to her memories, experiences, nature, travelling and music, with an emphasis on colour and mark-making.
Also exhibiting is mixed media artist Jacky Purtill who creates imaginative pieces inspired by texture, abstraction and form.
A host of exciting workshops are also available to book throughout the exhibition, run by the artists involved and giving people the chance to explore their creativity, learn new techniques and develop new skills.
Visitors to the exhibition can also enjoy the benefit of Proteus’ on-site coffee shop which sells delicious sweet treats and hot and cold drinks. There is also free on-site parking.
