TWO men who were arrested outside a Turkish barber shop in Basingstoke following reports of homophobic abuse have been released on bail.
As previously reported, two men, aged 18 and 29, were arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive and insulting words and behaviour to cause harassment, alarm and distress.

The incident, which police have called a hate crime, happened in Church Street between 12pm and 1.15pm on Saturday, August 17, during Basingstoke's first Pride parade march, which travelled down the same road.
The arrests were made at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, August 21, outside Dursun Turkish Barber Shop, in Church Street.
Now, police have provided an update on the situation, stating the men, both from Basingstoke, have been released on bail, "pending further enquiries".
