A DRINK driver has been disqualified for three years for failing to stop after a crash in Hook.
Daniel Sweeney, 36, of Tweseldown Road in Church Crookham, pleaded guilty to driving a silver Audi in Hook on April 10 when he had 90mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop after being involved in a crash in which he damaged a road sign. He pleaded guilty as well to not having third-party insurance.
Banning him for three years, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court also ordered him to abstain from consuming alcohol for three months.
He has to pay £85 costs and undertake rehabilitation activity for 15 days. His driving record is endorsed as well.
