A DRINK driver from Dummer who was double the limit has been banned for 20 months for drink-driving.
Morgan Hyndman, 18, of Winchester Road, drove a Nissan Qashqai on The Dean on July 12 when he had 72mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court disqualified him for 20 months.
Hyndman was also ordered to pay a fine of £400, along with £160 surcharge and £85 costs.
