A PERSON suffered a serious injury in a crash involving two cars and a lorry in Basingstoke on Friday afternoon.
According to firefighters, who rushed to the scene on the A30 Winchester Road in Kempshott direction, the crash occurred shortly after 2pm.
Upon arrival, they assessed four individuals involved in the crash and handed them over to paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service for further medical attention.
Police said one of them suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Crews from Basingstoke were alerted to an RTC involving two cars and a lorry on Winchester Road in Basingstoke shortly after 2pm.
"Four casualties were assessed and passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
"Firefighters returned to station at 4pm."
A spokesperson for police said: "Just after 2pm on Brighton Hill roundabout, involved two cars and one lorry. One person suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries."
