A new Turkish barber shop has opened in Festival Place.
Ephesus, a traditional independent Turkish barber shop, opened this week, offering services including classic wet shaves, haircuts and fades, nose and ear hot wax, beard trims, as well as free hot towel hair washes.
The new salon has lathered on the style, with ornate black and gold mirrors, gold sinks, and fancy finishing touches.
Ephesus owner Muhammed Bozdag was born in Izmir near the ancient city of Ephesus, former site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

He moved to England in 2008, and set up his first barber shop in 2010.
Muhammed said: “We’re delighted to be opening our new salon at Festival Place and can’t wait to see lots of new faces. Come down and see our experts try a traditional Turkish shave – it's a clean, precise shave that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.”
The new Festival Place salon is the second Ephesus salon to open in the south, with another in Farnborough.
