A drug driver from Basingstoke has been banned for 17 months.
Jamie Snowley, 41, of Jefferson Road, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit on Vyne Road in Basingstoke on March 17, when the proportion of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and benzoylecgonine - both controlled drugs - in his blood exceeded the limit.

He had 6.0ug/L of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and 68ug/L of benzoylecgonine in his blood. The legal limit for both are 2.0ug/L and 50ug/L respectively.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court disqualified him from driving for 17 months.
Snowley was fined £385 and ordered to pay £305 surcharge and £85 costs.
