ACROSS the UK, Met Office has issued weather warnings for this weekend as a downpour is anticipated.
In Basingstoke, a yellow weather warning has been issued for between 4am and 9pm on Sunday, September 1.
Disruption is expected due to heavy showers, thunderstorms and a risk of flooding forecast across the county throughout the day.

On its website, the Met Office state that difficult driving conditions and road closures can be expected, as well as the chance of power cuts and public transport delays.
The forecast for Basingstoke shows that rain is expected from 9am until the end of the day, with thunder and lightening forecast between 11am and 7pm.
The temperature will peak at 23C between 3pm and 6pm, with a low of 15C in the early morning.
