Drivers in and around Basingstoke and Deane will have 13 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A34, from 8pm August 9 to 6am September 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to A303 westbound, link road and lane closures for barrier work.

And a further 11 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A34, from 8pm September 3 to 6am September 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington to Whitchurch, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A34, from 8pm September 4 to 6am September 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Whitchurch to Litchfield, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A303, from 9pm September 4 to 6am September 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 7, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• M3, from 8pm September 5 to 6am September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 9, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A34, from 9pm September 5 to 6am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Litchfield, lane closures for barrier work.

• M3, from 8pm September 6 to 6am September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 7 to junction 8, lane closures for barrier repairs.

• A34, from 8pm September 9 to 6am September 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Tot Hill, slip road and lane closures for inspection work.

• M3, from 9.30pm September 10 to 6am September 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 6, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 9pm September 11 to 6am September 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A34, from 8pm September 12 to 6am September 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Litchfield, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.

• A303, from 8pm September 13 to 6am September 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 7, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
