A ZEBRA crossing could be installed on a road in Basingstoke to make it safer for pedestrians to cross.
Hampshire County Council has given notice of its intention to carry out the work.
The crossing will be located on Sherborne Road, near to the junction with Merton Road, not far from Oakridge Infant and Junior Schools.

The public is invited to comment on the plans up until September 13.
Comments can be emailed to Capital.Delivery@hants.gov.uk quoting the reference ZEB010.
A spokesperson for Hampshire County Council said: "We are currently asking for views on proposals for a zebra crossing on Sherbourne Road in Basingstoke. This is part of a package of measures designed to improve pedestrian links between local amenities, schools, and the railway station."
