A woman has been charged with shoplifting following reports that items including meat and coffee had been stolen from a number of stores in Basingstoke.
Donna Kemp, 40, of Melrose Walk, Basingstoke, has been charged with eight counts of theft from a shop.
Officers received reports that items worth £907.58 were stolen from One Stop in Shakespeare Road as well as the Marks and Spencer and Boots stores in Chineham Shopping Centre.

Some of the items stolen between July 30 and August 31 included meat, coffee and cosmetic products.
Kemp was also charged with assault by beating and common assault following an unrelated incident on July 17.
Police received reports that members of the public were physically and verbally assaulted on Melrose Walk.
Kemp was also charged with racially/religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress by words or writing and using threatening, abusive or insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in relation to the incident.
She is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today, September 6.
