A LITTER of eight puppies that needed rehoming have found their forever homes following an appeal from the RSPCA Basingstoke and Andover branch.
The puppies, named Nelson, Daisy Mae, Logan, Pepper, Chester, Ellie, Lemi and Benny were born after a pregnant stray dog entered the care of the branch, where she gave birth to the pups.
The litter was made up of three female and five male pups. The breed of the dogs is not known as their mother was a combination of a small Terrier and an unknown breed.

Sarah Biro, a volunteer at the RSPCA Basingstoke and Andover, said that the charity wishes the puppies a 'long, loving, happy future'.

These include animal re-homing, provision of limited financial assistance and the promotion of responsible pet ownership through emergency neutering and microchipping campaigns.
If you are unable to commit to rehoming an animal on a permanent basis, then fostering could be ideal.
A spokesperson for RSPCA Basingstoke and Andover said: "Fostering can be a highly rewarding experience which also enables us to provide our animals with a temporary loving home whilst we find them their new owner. We need foster homes for all sorts of reasons and lengths of time."
