A CRASH between two cars on the A303 westbound which left the road closed for most of the day has sparked an appeal from police.
Officers were called at approximately 11.20am to a report of a collision on the westbound carriageway near Sutton Scotney.
The collision involved a gold/grey coloured Volvo XC40 and a white Toyota Aygo.

The road has remained closed since 11am on September 6, from the junction 8 exit on the M3. Motorists are being diverted to junction 9.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "To assist our initial enquiries, officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
"We also want to hear from anyone that saw either of those two vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision.
"Anyone who believes they have any information or dash-cam footage which may assist us, however relevant you believe it to be, is asked to get in touch.
