How true the letter 'Payment axe is heartbreaking' was.
It stated how the Labour Party victory was cheered after a decade of austerity.
Then the first thing the Government did was axe the winter fuel payment, then allow the energy cap to be raised.
They're alright, we pay their energy bills for them, and their generous salary and expenses.
The letter quite rightly mentions Labour's indifference to Pensioners.
The problem is, that not many pensioners vote Labour.
They are wiser and have watched previous Labour Governments wreck the economy.
Starmer's campaign slogan should have been 'back to the seventies' because that's where we are going, hence the haste and trying to avoid debate and scrutiny.
All the work Margeret Thatcher did to reverse Labour shambles, Starmer's going to scrap.
Even Blair and Brown realised her changes were needed and left them intact, but still messed up the economy.
Not many people are cheering Labour's victory now, as we face a 'cost of socialism' crisis.
Starmer is a real dud.
