The Tadley Arts Festival is returning this October, boasting more artists, musicians, and comedians than ever before.

The biennial event, organised by the 11 Churches Together Around Tadley and supported by Tadley Town Council, is expected to surpass the 2,000 visitor turnout from 2022.

Rev Steve McKay, rector in Tadley, said: "It will be such a joy to see the Tadley community come together again, not only does this event deepen the relationships between our churches in Tadley, but it also brings the whole community together, and there is something for everyone to enjoy at the arts festival.

"It is wonderful to live in such a talented community."

The main weekend will kick off at 10am on Saturday, October 12, at St Mary’s, Bishopswood Road, Tadley, with the Tadley poppy cascade being raised up the tower.

This installation, created in 2022 by hundreds of Tadley residents, features around 3,000 knitted poppies.

The festival's main event will take place at St Mary’s Church, Tadley, on Saturday, October 12 (10am to 5pm), and Sunday, October 13 (12pm to 4pm).

The event will feature art exhibitions with live music on both days, an arts café, street performers, and resident artists demonstrating their craft.

There will also be a full programme of music and spoken word throughout the weekend.
