Businesses across the borough can get help and support following proposed updates to employment law at a free event this month.
Following the General Election in July, the government has set out its plans for significant updates to existing employment law which aims to enhance workers’ rights.
Supported by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and delivered by Reality HR and Phillips Law, the free event and networking session is open to all businesses to support them in navigating these changes, including understanding the legal obligation to prevent sexual harassment legislation.

The session, which will take place between 9am and 11am on Wednesday, September 25 at Hampshire Court Hotel, will include a question-and-answer session giving businesses and HR professionals the chance to benefit from expert insight.
Leader of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council Cllr Paul Harvey said: "Our business community is the bedrock of the borough’s economic success. Thanks to the support of local firms Reality HR and Phillips Law, it's good to be able to offer this event to the borough's businesses so they can adapt and respond to legislation changes.
“We hope this event will help our businesses get on the front foot with proposed employment law changes and give them the chance to speak with experts to understand what the changes could mean for their business.”
Tickets for the event are free and can be booked via Eventbrite.
