A Basingstoke mum is desperately appealing for help to find her wedding and engagement rings after they went missing from the Village Gym in Basing View.
Katie Bannock last saw the items in the family changing room on the ground floor by the swimming pool on Sunday, September 15, when she was getting ready for a swim with her son, two, and husband, at around 3.30pm.
"I remember taking them off and putting them on the grey ledge of the changing table while getting ready," the 34-year-old mum said. Mrs Bannock realised she must have left them behind the next day and called the gym but sadly nothing had been handed in.
"I am absolutely devastated, these rings are very special to me and my husband and hold a lot of sentimental value. They are distinctive rings that were specially designed using family jewellery, they are irreplaceable. Please if you did pick them up, please hand them in at the Basingstoke police station or the front desk at the Village Gym. It would mean the world to be reunited with them."
Mrs Bannock has made a report to Hampshire Constabulary. The gym has carried out a search and did not find any rings. The manager will be reviewing CCTV footage to help try to track them down.
Only members, guests of the hotel or employees would have access to the family changing area which narrows down the number of people who could have come across the rings, Mrs Bannock understands.
Both rings are platinum and were designed by local Basingstoke jewellers Petra Jewellery in Viables and will be easily recognisable to local sellers and people.

Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called to a report of a theft at the Village Hotel on Basing View.
"It was reported that a wedding ring and engagement ring went missing between 3.40pm and 5pm on Sunday 15 September.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting 44240400827."
