A man who destroyed all items in a Travelodge room in Basingstoke has been ordered to undergo a drug rehabilitation programme.
Alyn Jones, 41, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to destroying a television, multiple mirrors, two windows, several lamps, the bed, the carpet, the walls, and several other items to a value of more than £5,000 belonging to the Travelodge Hotel group on July 6.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court ordered him to undergo a drug rehabilitation programme for six months with a monthly review.
Jones should also participate in rehabilitation activity for 10 days. He has been told to pay £200 compensation which he can pay in 10 instalments from his benefits.
