A gardening club has thanked two members for their decade-long service.
The Sherfield & District Gardening Club recently held its September meeting, where Andy Morgan and Dan Farrow were presented with Certificates of Appreciation and Honorary Membership for their dedicated service.
The club has now welcomed a new leadership team and is encouraging both seasoned and novice gardeners to join.
Monthly meetings, held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm in Sherfield Village Hall, feature expert speakers discussing a variety of gardening-related topics.
Membership is currently £8 per year and supports club activities.
Looking ahead, the club is planning coach visits to prestigious gardens in 2025, including RHS Wisley, Exbury, Hilliers, and potentially a visit to King Charles' garden at Highgrove.
The club has also announced its 2024 schedule, which includes talks on Heritage Apples by Chris Bird on October 21, The Botanic Gardens of London, Before Kew by Dr Mark Spencer on November 18, and a Christmas Social Evening on December 16.
