A new exhibition is celebrating female strength through thread and stitch at a Hampshire attraction.
The exhibition, titled "Passionate Women," is currently on display at the Whitchurch Silk Mill.
Created by Hampshire-based textile art group The Alchemist’s Needle, it features unique artworks portraying remarkable women who have shaped history.
The collection highlights the impact of strong, rebellious women who have defied odds to change lives, echoing the saying: "Well-behaved women seldom make history."

The exhibition includes pieces inspired by figures such as Boudicca, Dolly Parton, Frida Kahlo, England’s Lionesses, Taylor Swift, Clarice Cliff, Florence Nightingale, the Suffragettes, and NASA’s mathematicians.
It also features the story of the Headscarf Revolutionaries, led by Lillian Bilocca, who campaigned for improved safety on Britain's trawlers.
Eight artists have contributed to the exhibition, employing a variety of textile techniques.
Visitors can expect to see free machine and hand embroidery, goldwork, applique, paint, and print.
The "Passionate Women" exhibition will be open until Sunday, November 24.
Entry to the exhibition is included with the price of a mill entrance ticket.
Whitchurch Silk Mill is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10.30am to 5pm.
