A MAN who was sentenced for a drink-driving offence was back in court for failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.
Mateusz Lagowski, 38, of Wordsworth Close, Basingstoke was previously given a community order in May 2023 for driving a vehicle in Shetland Road, Popley, after consuming alcohol.
He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on September 13 for failing to attend unpaid work on March 31, 2024 and failing to attend an office appointment on February 29, 2024, both of which were requirements of the order.
He admitted the breach at the court hearing and was sentenced to a community order to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
