A TEENAGER has been sent to prison for 14 days for showing ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’.
Joshua Owen, 18, of Parkside Road, Basingstoke appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on September 13 after failing to comply with a supervision requirement imposed following release from detention at Basingstoke Youth Court on June 26, 2024.
He was ordered to remain at his home address from 7pm until 7am each day and comply with a curfew requirement by electronic monitoring tagging until September 18, 2024.
Owen admitted the breach and was sentenced to prison for 14 days.
