A MAN has been charged after a car failed to stop following an accident in Overton.
Edward Butler, 49, of no fixed abode, was charged with failing to stop after an accident on Winchester Street, Overton, on July 26.
Butler was also charged with three counts of driving a motor vehicle using stolen number plates, three counts of driving whilst disqualified, and theft from a motor vehicle on September 24 in Penwood Drove, Highclere.

In addition, Butler has also been charged with vehicle interference in Penwood Road, Hichlere on July 29 with intent to steal, theft of vehicle registration plates from a car on New Road, Winchester on July 26 and making off without payment at a petrol station at West Meon on July 26.
Another man, Lee James Butler, 25, also of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of theft from a motor vehicle after an incident on September 24 at Penwood Drove, Highclere.
The men will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today, September 26.
