Hundreds of walkers illuminated Basingstoke for the annual St Michael's Hospice Moonlight Walk, making it a sparkling success.
This year's event, on Saturday, September 28, saw a record-breaking turnout, surpassing last year's participation with a massive community spirit.
The festive atmosphere at Festival Place kicked off with face painting, refreshments, and lively music.
An energetic warm-up session prepared walkers for the 10k route, which was open to all paces.

Participants embraced the theme, sparkling with glow-in-the-dark accessories and dazzling outfits.
"The Moonlight Walk is a truly heartwarming event," said Laura Toop, event manager at St Michael's Hospice, ahead of the walk.
"It's about coming together as a community to show how much we value the Hospice's work."
With only 16 per cent funding from the NHS, the hospice relies heavily on community support to raise the additional £15,000 needed daily to operate.
Events like the Moonlight Walk are crucial in ensuring continued care for patients and their families.
