AN "exciting" family fun day offering interactive shooting sessions is taking place at a tactical gun range in Basingstoke.
From helmets and handguns to drones and Nerf darts, South England Tactical Gun Range is holding a 'family event day' on Sunday, October 27.
Whether you're an avid enthusiast or a straight-up novice, the organisation is promising fun, learning, and safety in an event for all ages.
The organisation says it is "thrilled" to announce the event, "whether you’re a shooting enthusiast or just looking for a family-friendly outing, this event provides the perfect mix of entertainment, learning, and excitement in a safe and controlled environment."

The event will feature interactive shooting sessions with professional instructors who will guide participants through a variety of shooting experiences, from air rifles to pistols, ensuring fun for beginners and seasoned shooters alike.
As well as this, attendees will get the opportunity to enjoy live drone demonstrations, showcasing the latest in aerial technology with stunning flying tricks.
A local face-painting company will be on-site to create fun and colourful designs for children, making the day even more special.
As well as this, Nerf target shooting with "exciting" prizes will keep kids entertained as they test their aim in a dedicated Nerf shooting zone plus a creative crafts station where children can make their own take-home souvenirs.
Attendees will get the opportunity to meet the team including certified instructors, safety officers, and event coordinators and learn more about what makes South England Tactical Gun Range a trusted destination for safe and enjoyable shooting sports.
A local catering company will also be providing delicious food and refreshments throughout the day, so families can relax and enjoy the great food on offer.
Every shooting session will start with a detailed safety briefing by expert instructors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Fun challenges for both adults and children to enjoy will take place throughout the day, with prizes for top performers in various shooting categories.
