RESIDENTS will have the chance to meet the stars of a popular game show this weekend as the cast of BBC's Gladiators are coming to town.
The athletes will take over Porchester Square on Saturday, October 5, from 10am to 4pm, allowing all members of the family to meet the TV stars.
In addition to appearances from the cast, the area will transform into an inflatable arena straight out of the show, allowing visitors to challenge friends and family to a combat duel.

The appearance comes ahead of the second series of the Gladiators reboot, a revival of the 1992 game show, set to air next year.
Each episode sees elite athletes, called Gladiators, compete in a series of events to test their physicality to determine the show's champions.
Hosted by father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the 2024 reboot introduced audiences to characters Sabre, Legend, Nitro, Diamond, Phantom, Athena, Bionic, Fire, Giant, Dynamite, Viper, Electro, Apollo, Comet, Steel and Fury.
Sian Fisher, marketing manager at Festival Place, said: “We can’t wait to see Porchester Square turn into a Gladiator arena – this is a fantastic opportunity for our visitors to meet some of the most iconic TV stars in the UK and experience the excitement of Gladiators firsthand.
“We do expect this event to be very popular, so please allow plenty of time for your visit as we expect demand to be high.”
Both the meet and greet and the inflatable arena will be run on a first-come, first-served basis from 10am until 4pm.
