A man has been ordered to pay compensation for assault.
Adam Jones, 39, of no fixed abode in Basingstoke district, pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in Winchester on July 26.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court ordered him to pay £50 compensation.
The court took into account the fact that he served the equivalent of 10 weeks in custody.
