A Basingstoke man has been banned after he was caught drink driving.
Ben Chandler, 25, of Bloxham Close, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen on a road near his residence on August 16, when the proportion of alcohol in his blood was 46mg.
The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml of blood.
Chandler was disqualified for 12 months with a reduction of three months if he completes a course.
He was ordered to pay £415 fine, £85 costs and £166 surcharge.
