AWE employees have chosen Parents And Children Together (PACT) as their new charity partner.
The adoption and trauma recovery charity will receive support from AWE staff, who will fundraise, volunteer, and promote PACT's work.
Kavita Thandi, AWE's responsible business manager, said: "Supporting our local communities is very important to everyone here at AWE and the work that PACT does to support parents and children is inspirational.
"Last year alone, 78 children found loving permanent homes via PACT and we are excited about working with and supporting the amazing PACT team."
Established in 1911, PACT is one of the UK’s leading adoption agencies, helping hundreds of families every year across southern and central England.
The charity is dedicated to placing children with secure and loving adoptive families and providing continued support through therapeutic services.
They also support and empower women facing multiple disadvantages and assist in the recovery of children affected by domestic abuse.
Natausha van Vliet, PACT’s chief executive, said: "It is wonderful to receive such a positive response from AWE’s people and to know that they are offering their time and support to fundraise for our work.
"It means a lot to us and we are really looking forward to developing our partnership and helping even more women, children and families."
The partnership will see AWE employees actively involved in PACT's activities, contributing to the charity's mission of supporting families and children in need.
More information about PACT's work can be found on their website.
