A Christmas Carol will show for two nights at a Basingstoke theatre this Christmas.
The Haymarket Theatre will host the Chapterhouse Theatre Company's production of Charles Dickens' classic on December 14 and 15.
The play, which forms part of the theatre company's UK winter tour, will start at 7.30pm on both nights.
The production follows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the miserly character who finds redemption after being visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve.
The play promises to feature "dazzling musical sequences and authentic period costuming."
A spokesperson for the Chapterhouse Theatre Company said: "Join family and friends at the most magical time of the year and be swept back in time nearly two centuries to the world of Scrooge’s London.
"Wonderfully emotive and an absolute joy.
"A simply heart-warming Christmassy tale that was beautifully told."
Chapterhouse Theatre Company was established in 1999.
It is a critically acclaimed theatre company which has been touring for more than 20 years.
The production of A Christmas Carol is part of this year's UK winter tour.
The production showcases the journey of Scrooge, an elderly man who cares only about his money.
He is indifferent to the festive spirit and the goodwill of Christmas, despite encouragement from his nephew Fred and his clerk Bob Cratchit.
On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of three more ghostly visitors.
What follows is a tale about redemption, a story that has been cherished since its first release in 1843.
