Basingstoke Crematorium has announced its annual Christmas Carol Service.

The free event, open to all community members, will take place on December 12 at 7pm.

Attendees can join in singing traditional carols, lighting candles, and placing stars on the Christmas tree in memory of loved ones.

The evening will offer a peaceful and reflective celebration of the festive season while honouring the memory of those no longer with us.

Ewa Fettin, business leader at Basingstoke Crematorium, said: "This is a time to reflect and celebrate the meaningful connections we have shared, especially as we remember those who are no longer with us."

Memorial consultant, Jo Lamb, said: "I’m honoured to provide support to families during such difficult times and proud to be part of this special event."

The event will also support Sebastian’s Action Trust, a charity dedicated to helping families of seriously ill children.

Donations are welcomed and will go towards supporting this cause.

People are invited to join for an evening of unity, remembrance, and giving back.
