The collaboration was initiated by Kirsty Wrightson from HDCUK and recently saw the acquisition of a food truck named "Betty" to aid in fundraising efforts.

The event also focused on Peaches, a dog in urgent need of surgery for hip dysplasia and leg correction, with an estimated cost of £8,000.

The group invited the community to the special event on Sunday, September 8 to further support the cause.

The spokesperson added: "Together, we're dedicated to addressing the growing need for animal rescue services in our area."

The group expressed its pride in working within the community and is looking forward to future events to continue raising awareness and support.
