A MAN was stabbed in the arm after cash and jewellery were stolen during a burglary.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a burglary in Farnborough.
Officers were called to a report that an address in Ribble Place had been accessed by two unknown men at 8.47pm on Monday, October 7.
An untidy search was carried out and cash and jewellery were stolen.
The men were disturbed inside the property and one fled the scene. The other attempted to leave and assaulted a man inside the address.
It was then reported that a scuffle took place outside the address and that the man who had been assaulted was stabbed in the arm. He suffered minor injuries to his arm.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries and are now appealing for witnesses.
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: "Were you in the area at the time? Did you see any suspicious activity on Ribble Place? Did you witness an incident outside the address?
"Do you have any dashcam footage or CCTV images that could assist with our enquiries?
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting the reference 44240436114."
