Members of an amateur dramatics society will be cycling from Nazareth to Bethlehem to raise funds for a relaxed performance of Nativity the Musical.
BATS members will take part in a six-hour cycle relay, dubbed the Christmas Cycle Challenge, on Sunday, October 13, from 10am to 4pm, at Bramley Village Hall.
The fundraiser will allow for a relaxed performance of its Christmas production, Nativity the Musical, which will be staged at The Haymarket on Tuesday, November 26.

This initiative aims to enable people with additional needs to enjoy the theatre.
BATS have set up a GoFundMe page to collect sponsors as a team. To donate, go to gofundme.com/f/theatre-for-all-relaxed-performance-of-nativity.
The cycle challenge is seen as an inclusive way for all cast members to contribute, regardless of their physical ability.
Relaxed performances provide a more accommodating environment for people with learning and physical disabilities.
In Basingstoke, there were only two such performances across major theatres in 2022.
BATS are also working with SEND schools, charity, and community organisations to gift tickets for the special performance.
BATS are determined to make this special performance possible, having secured some funding from local corporate sponsors, councillors, and community grant funding.
