A top political comedian and satirist is bringing his new show to Basingstoke.
Following a sold-out run of his show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Matt Forde will perform at The Haymarket, on Thursday, November 14, with his End of an Era Tour.
Forde's show was the best reviewed out of 1,638 comedy shows by the British Comedy Guide.
The satirist, known for his work on Spitting Image, Have I Got News for You and British Scandal, will delve into the dynamics of the newly elected UK government.

During the last Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Forde was diagnosed with cancer, having initially thought he was suffering from sciatica.
He subsequently underwent surgery to have the base of his spine removed.
After learning to walk again earlier this year, he resumed work on his podcasts and hosting Absolute Radio’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Football Show.
His latest show reflects on the UK’s newly elected government after 14 years and aligns with the US election race.
During his recovery, Forde took on the challenge of interviewing candidates from all 650 constituencies before polling day, featuring these interviews on his podcast, The Political Party.
Tickets are £21.50, suitable for ages 14 and over.
