A retirement community in Tadley has raised £213 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff and homeowners at the McCarthy Stone Retirement Living development, Yelland Place in New Road, welcomed local residents, family, and friends for the coffee and cake morning fundraiser.
The money raised will help Macmillan Cancer Support, which is 98 per cent funded by voluntary donations, to run its online community, provide a Macmillan Grant for costs such as travel to hospital and energy bills, and pay for a Macmillan nurse to provide medical, practical, and emotional support.
Verity McKay, divisional marketing manager for McCarthy Stone, said: "Our Macmillan Coffee Morning was a huge amount of fun for everyone involved, providing the perfect opportunity for many of our homeowners and their guests to catch up over a slice of cake and raise money for a great cause.

"At McCarthy Stone, an important part of what we do is support key initiatives.
"Macmillan Cancer Support provides invaluable assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer, so we’re delighted to be able to do our bit.
"On behalf of everyone at Yelland Place, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and gave up their time to help raise money for a fantastic charity."
Yelland Place is set amidst the Hampshire countryside and offers a mix of luxury one and two-bedroom retirement apartments exclusively designed for the over 60s.
The retirement community places a priority on the wellbeing of its residents, with a sophisticated communal lounge and beautifully landscaped garden for socialising and relaxation.

For added peace of mind, a house manager is on-site during office hours to oversee the development, and all properties are fitted with a 24-hour emergency call system, intruder alarm, and door camera entry.
Yelland Place offers a range of purchase options, including a shared ownership scheme in partnership with Homes England.
This allows retirees to enjoy the benefits of retirement living without committing to the full purchase price.
More than nine out of 10 customers would recommend McCarthy Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full five-star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation.
McCarthy Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this rating every year it has taken part in the survey.
