A PROPERTY in the town centre has been closed off to the public following drug-related activity and antisocial behaviour.
Basingstoke's Neighbourhood Policing Team secured a full closure order for an address in Lauriston Court, London Road, after evidence was presented in Magistrates Court.
The order was granted on Friday, October 4, and means that no one other than those authorised by the court, including members of the emergency services, council or housing association, can enter or remain at the address for the next three months.
If they do so, they will be committing a criminal offence and can be arrested.

The order was obtained following partnership work with officers, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Sovereign Network Group.
Basingstoke A/Police Sergeant Charlotte Warhurst said: "We have taken these steps after receiving reports of anti-social behaviour at an address at Lauriston Court.
"The activities of those at the address have had an enormous impact on local residents, and we would like to thank the community for their help and patience while we gathered evidence to secure this order.
"Our officers will continue to do everything they can to help prevent anti-social behaviour in Basingstoke and Deane."
