A MAN has been arrested after police found Class A drugs hidden in a sock in his car.
Police pulled over the 25-year-old man, who was driving a Mazda 5 on Brighton Way at around 9pm on Thursday, October 10.
Officers searched the vehicle and seized what they suspected to be Class A drugs and more than £200 in cash.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
He remains in custody.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "A man has been arrested after officers found suspected Class A drugs following a proactive stop in Basingstoke last night.
"Officers stopped a Mazda 5 on Brighton Way at around 9pm on Thursday 10 October and searched the vehicle.
"They found suspected Class A drugs hidden inside a sock and a box and more than £200 in cash. All items have been seized.
"A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
"He remains in custody while our enquiries continue."
